Most of us have, at some point, kept a writing journal. This could be either a diary or a notebook of musings. If you are a voracious reader, how about keeping a Reading Journal?
A Reading Journal (or a Book Log) is just like a writing journal - a space where you keep track of what you’ve been reading, with or without any notes on the subject. The journal could be just a list of books or could go into more details with favourite quotes, names of characters and plot summaries. If the book touched you, your journal entry could be reflective.
Browsing through your journal will allow you to relive the joys of reading a favourite title or author. You might even notice a trend in the books you’ve been reading - whether it’s an author that appears frequently on your list or a genre that you didn’t realise you were partial to.
All you need is a notebook and pen. If you like to share your thoughts with the world, why not consider starting a Reading Blog?
